external wastegate... Have you monitored what your back pressure is first to need it? I know there was a bad batch of bellows for a while, have you talked to craig about it?

What housing and turbine wheel does your charger have? I doubt back pressure if your problem, but again without knowing what it is you cant say its the issue.

Assuming you have the plastic cold side pipe? That 68 puts how way too mcuh pressure to use that plastic piece, you need a no limit or the oem metal cold side pipe.

I just plumbed in a 100psi boost gauge into a bung I had Matt (Cutting Edge) weld into my divided up pipes when he built them. Using 1/4 inch copper line to the back of the gauge with a soot filter inline to it doesnt reach the gauge. You can monitor it through the OBD2 port as well, just have to subtract barometric pressure (which is around 14ish psi) from absolute ebp.

I dont like those style bellows, I'd redo them with better bellows and get a gauge on it before spending money and pointing fingers. that housing and turbine is a good match for that compressor wheel size.

They should be interlocking liners with the stainless braided exterior, a 472 would be a nice match, and pretty much the largest you can go to still be the most street friendly depending on the turbine wheel and exhaust housing.

472 and "street friendly" in the same sentence? :poke:

You guys must REALLY have a different perception of "street friendly"! LOL :blitzed:

yes, despite a smaller charger but, i can drive my 66 on the street without any smoke if I went with a smaller nozzle . Why is everyone so infatuated with saying you cant drive a big charger on the street?

Here's one I blew up a long time ago, that was a vibrant bellow. I built another set of up pipes with new vibrant bellows and haven't had a problem since, it could be that I'm not running the 430s anymore too LOL

It'd probably be a good idea to put a bp gauge on and see what its doing.
