Since I painted my headlights and grill i haven't really been sure what to do with the bumpers. The chrome just doesn't look right. I thought about painting them the silver of the 2 tone likes shone did on his truck, but i'm not sure it'd look good with the silver.

I've been thinking about line-x'ing it all and going with some amp steps since i wouldn't have to worry about rock chips w/ the linex, and throw on some black 20's w/ 37s.

So i was thinking, what about the way they're doing the duallies now? extend the 2 tone from the fender flare down through the bumper, and have the rest done black? http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/f151/ford-f450-22-5-rims-272577/

I still say silver bumpers. It'll come out like the king ranches but not cowboyish.

Benbou who bought jesses 08 was complaining about his line x coming off in places and he was in the process of peeling it all off last I heard. I thought about doing my bumpers in it also, but I would hate to have to re do it.

I think the black bumper with the silver extending will look cool for the front. Not really sure how youd make the rear look good though.

If you can get me a clean picture of your truck (ie no shadows) and example of what you are talking about...I can photoshop things in to give you an idea.

Its a tough call for sure. Photoshop would help for sure. Id like to see what the silver bumpers would look like too.

Are you going to keep the bull bar on after?

not sure on the bull bar, I'm not in love with it, may actually go with an asani designs bumper or something to change it up a bit. I just really like how a black bumper would look from the front but I know all black will look awkward

what i'm talking about is just extending the silver from the fender flare down the first little bit of the bumper. Like continuing the flow of the fender flare and then the rest of the bumper would be back. idk what i'd do with the rear bumper

Silver bumpers with black wheels, running board delete mod or amp steps... IDK what to do about the bull bar.

It looks as if you're going 3 different routes at the same time. You have the chrome yet you have silver and then you have a "blacked out" front end. Pick one and go with it whether it be chrome/black, black, or black/silver. IMO either way you go it will look great but my choice is up top. :)

Yea I know for sure the chrome is going, I just don't know what will take it's place.

And I'm definitely gonna get some AMP steps when I get the extra cash, but I can't get into my truck without my steps and i'm 6' so I know girls won't be able to. Plus they catch a lot of rocks from the tires

I like the truck how it is. I would put some silver mesh in the grill and that would tie it all together. I think ditching the silver would be a big mistake.

EVERYONE has a blacked out truck. DONT go down that well-traveled road. Ford has a factory murdered-out f150 now...

Do something different.... If you must, then paint your bumpers silver and run those chrome wheels.

I've always liked the two tone on your truck. One of my favorite two tone trucks. I definitely wouldn't do black bumpers with the silver. If you want to get rid of the silver, all black looks good. I think the paint matched silver bumpers would look good too.....possibly better than all black.

Silver bumpers and death metal BMFs.... Everything on the truck would be black or silver. It's like the cooler version of murdered out.

silver bumpers would look really good I think. Along with some black wheels of course. But you're right, nobody has an all "blacked-out" truck, so it would still stand out bigtime.

The front bumper is actually the only piece I left the linex on. Its held up pretty good on there, but I'll probably end up painting it too because it just doesn't really look right now since everything else is painted. Linex may be the ticket to prevent rock chips, but to me it's not something you put on a 50k truck. Everybody may have their own opinion on the matter, but that's why I pulled it all off and did it the right way.

If you don't plan to do anything with the two tone then paint them silver. To me with just a black bumper it just looks out of place. I'm not a fan of two tone at all but your truck and a few others can pull it off and look really good.
