Are you going to still drive on the street? With 250s I'm guessing your trying to make good power, people attempt to drive on a 66, and that makes good #s.

On a side note, a member posted a pic of the size difference bw a mishimoto and spearco and I think if you saw that you would invest in a spearco or a banks cooler.

Im happy with the mishimoto... My main concern was to keep from blowing the ends off of the IC... I have been leaning to a 66, but I am still open to as many options as I can get... I also have been considering twins, but if I just want a fun truck to street drive and take to the track...

Twins then no doubt. And I would think the mishimoto is restricting flow and not producing nearly as much dense air, but I really no nothing about that.

My friend and I made a twin kit for my truck. I'm running a 62/65/.70 as my primary, and a 75/96/1.32, Im changing to a 71 turbine on the small one and putting a 1.10 scroll on the big one. I'm going to test it first before I up the turbos since now it's just a fun truck instead of a dd. But I would think that's a good driveable twin setup.

My big turn off on doing twins right now would be the need to tear into a perfectly good running truck to mess with the internals  ...

Why not a 92mm exhaust wheel on your primary(atmo) charger??

What internals would you need to mess with?

And for a 92, that turbo was a good deal but it came with a 96. That and a big scroll means it was meant for a gas engine turning high rpms. And my next configuration will be alot bigger turbos anyway. I didn't know how to size when I started honestly and that's a t3 to a t6 lol.

You don't neccessarily need internals for twins, It all depends on how far you want to push the limits of it. If you're looking for over 700hp...then i'd start thinking about rods maybe

Totally understood. I'd love to hear how the system works when it's all up and running. I would imagine you would need a pretty large wastegate to keep your secondary alive. It's gonna be out of it's map pretty quick. Makes me wonder if you are gonna see wicked spool up and then a dead spot until the primary lights up.

One rule of thumb I use when buying chargers. You can always go bigger with your exhaust and compressor wheels but it's harder to go smaller. For instance I have an S480/96/1.32 I can go up to a 88mm or 82mm compressor wheels but I cannot drop to a 92mm exhaust wheel. It might be reasonably cheap to have ED or Forced Inductions bump up that secondary to a 63/68/.90

Regardless good luck!!

Till the Batmo publishes turbo maps I wouldn't touch that charger. There is alot of smoke and mirrors on any info on those...

I cant wait to get it up and running, sucks this chest surgery has me laying low for a while.. I have a 50mm external tied in there. I want to bump up the primary but I want to sell both turbos and go as big as I can for turbos on a 6.0l with big fuel and big oil. Im just not understanding the foot size. I know I shouldve went t4 and t6, but on the next setup, should I go for two t6's or a t4 t6 s500 and another big turbo in the mix? Im probably going to make a thread about this when the time comes, but if yall have some thoughts now, throw em out there lol. Here my setup, dont mind the rr fuel lines and such.

Guys, Redneck has been running stock bottom ends for several seasons. He is well over the 700 HP mark and still going. I'd take que's from guys that have done it successfully. They did the R&D for you. JMO. I don't know David Lott, but his sig is true, "Experience is what you get, WHEN YOU DON"T GET WHAT YOU WANT." Learn from their EXPERIENCE!!

Ran a stock bottom end with 700hp for 2 yrs with no issues. I only suggested that turbo cause he's not towing, his truck is no more than a toy to play on the street and a track whore. With the bd valve its pretty streetable. But its not what I would put on a true daily. driver. With 250cc stix I hope he has more than stock oil. If he does that turbo will push d0psi and pull hard

Internals mainly depend on cylinder pressures on whether you need rods or lowering compression.

right, and shawn's dually has twins and 225/100 injectors and everything is stock. Like Shawn also said...if it's just a DD and occasionaly raced at the track, no need for any internals such as rods or lower compression pistons. Shawn has prooved that.

Yes I agree. Shawn as proved the 6.0 to be a very strong bottom end stock. I guess it depends on how much he wants to push it I don't think he mentioned that he is gonna be spraying quite a bit and will see the track often. If you have the money twins are hard to beat. But a good single will run real good as well.

I ran a 66/74 .80 and dd it for a while with 225sthe it was laggy but still streetable, but I recently put a 666 batmo on mine and its AWESOME! I can dd it like a stock truck with no smoke, thats with 285/150 hybrids too. Heck I drove it 1000 miles to topeka last weekend and every day this week to work. I am very happy with how it runs.
