Looking for a little advice and not sure where to post but here goes.
3 years ago we bought a house "short sale" and have remodeled it including finishing out the basement. We should clear $150k or better. I'm a Contractor so I did 99 percent of the labor. What we plan to do is pay off all of our debt and have about 10% left to put down on another house. My question is would you pay off the 6.4 and drive it or put the same amount of money into a 6.7? My truck is an 08(6 yrs old), it has 42,000 miles on it (low, I drive 25-30k a year, I bought it last yr with 15k) it's deleted for 25k with no issues. I just keep going back and forth in my mind about it especially when threads show up of cracked piston this, front cover that, worn rocker etc. etc. and how everyone who has a 6.7 raves about how much better it is. What do you all think?

I owe around 30k on it

I'd just keep the 6.4. My 6.4 with deletes gets better mileage and is more powerful than my bosses 6.7

In your situation id only go to the 6.7 if you just wanted to buy a brand new one from a dealership and just put a good chunk of money down on it.

With the right things done to a 6.4 i dont think you should worry too much, especially since you deleted it pretty early.

Thanks for the replies. It's not that I don't like the truck so I'll prolly just keep it. Here are some pics of it.

That truck is nice man. A lot more potential from that motor if your into it too. Plus big truck payments suck. Pay it off
