Whats the biggest tire you can fit in stock spare location?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has jammed a big tire under the back of their truck? My old one rode in the box and drove me crazy. I'm looking at stuffing a 37x13.5 in there on the factory spare rim, not ideal but good enough for a spare....


Looks like it might fit. Anyone done it?

I have a 35x12.50 under mine, there is a little extra room but not sure if a 37 will squeeze up there or not

Many people have 37s in stock spare mounts. Biggest thing in the way is exhaust

those stock Michelin 275s that come on the 18"s from factory on the 6.7s, how tall are those inch wise? I hear they are like 34s or somethin but if i ever had a flat and put spare on would it hurt anything running my 35s?

Yeah they are 34. Eye balling it, it looks like it may work.... will post up when I find out!

They're roughly 34". You'd be fine running it as a spare with the other 3 being 35s

Tires with different diameters can burn up the clutches in a limited slip rear end. If you have a LS I would only drive as far as needed to fix the tire or put the spare on the front if you lose a tire in the rear.

A friend of mine has his stock 20 inch wheel with a 35 on it as his spare.
