What's the difference?

Whats the difference between 2wd an 4wd front suspension on the 99-03 f250s? I been looking at leveling kits and none if the high end brands sell kits for the 2wd. It's just kinda got me curious

2wd is coil 4wd is leaf spring

Yeah the 2wds use a I beam setup with coil springs and the 4wd uses a straight axle with leaf springs. There's a few decent leveling kits for the 2wd trucks. I had at one time planned on lifting mine some and remember seeing a few decent options
