How many miles were on your truck when a hpop line blew? I'm always afraid of getting stranded somewhere. I like to replace things before they go bad. But the hpop lines aren't cheap and I don't want to replaced them if I don't have to.

So far we haven't had a HPOP line fail, knock on wood. My truck is at 190k, old OBS was 230k, uncles is over 120k, and some friends with well over 200k. We've had some leaks at the fittings but never one blown.
To be honest i've never heard of one blowing, other than some aftermarket lines and HPO crossovers. How many miles are on your truck?

I blew one around 218k I think with a fresh SRP1 on it, split the line going to the right head. No doubt they ain't cheap, I think mine were almost $300 from Ford.

never a line.. yet. but ive had orings fail about 130k

Never had a line fail, but had a O ring failure at 33k.

had mine fail around 170k, didn't have a "hole" in it but the connection failed and the truck quit, oil everwhere, and I paid way less than $300 for both lines from ford.

352k miles on mine, no blown lines. I have blown 2 o-rings and, 2 HPOP gaskets, and a fuel return line that goes from the head to the FPR.
