is the best place to pull power from to wire in an electric tonneau cover. direct to the batteries ,fuse panel?? I haven't received it yet,just wanting to prep for it.

I would do either the trailer plug, or find a power back in the ass of the truck so you aint running 20ft of wire. How many amps is it supposed to pull?

If you do end up running wire to the front, make sure it has a disconnect as the cab may have to come off in the future.

Definitely tap into the constant power pin on the 7 pin trailer connector.

Keep in mind that power wire for the the trailer plug is key on only. May not matter to you but some don't like it much. However it is what I used.

Wire it to your left blinker.

Wire it to your left blinker in series with the sunroof.
