Which brand of waterpump? Airtex? OEM?

get an oem one.....i got the airtex from rockauto and a year later had to replace again. just go oem and be done with it.....

Thank you gentlemen, I will buy OEM today. I thought airtex was OEM, but apparently not.

airtex is far from oem. I ran an advance auto parts for about a year. My return rate on them was astronmical. OEM or bosch is the only way to go.

I have had good luck with Bosch waterpumps on stuff.

I went with OEM from Clay at Riffraff. Thanks guys. I have terrible luck with cheap parts. If I try to save a buck, I WILL be doing this again very soon.

Supposedly Airtex used to make the OEM pumps. Either way, the same company that makes OEM parts will also make lesser quality parts for other companies that want to put their name on them.

With that said, I have had an Airtex pump on my truck for about 3 years now in Texas heat with no problems.

I've had an airtex for awhile now.. seems i have a TINY coolant drip now and then, probably the dumb gasket.. its so little that it hasnt been worth touching.. but that being said everything else is a okay.
