which turbo?

Im running 175/80s and im switching to a t4 mount from irate. Ive been looking at turbo options and ive slightly decided on a s366 but I'm worried on how it will do in the upper rpms. 2500+ wise. Anyone else have these injectors or similar that can relate?

Can't help with your exact senario but I'm currently running a 366/74/1.00 with stock injectors in my '96 and it does fine. Also ran it with my 275/100 injectors and it worked very fine. I'm sure it shoulda been waste gated for the bigger injectors, but i never had an issue with it.

i know you've seen the thread on the other site where the guy runs that set up with the basb. seems like a solid setup

How does it spool with the 1.00 and stock injectors? Yours an auto or 5 spd?
I'm thinking this is what I'm going with

I don't like the Batmowheel idea. I have a S468 .90 with stage 2s i'm going to try out here in the next few day( putting it back together now.) I'll let you know. But if you're going to stick with those small sticks just get a S366 with a .91 and it'll run great. If you plan on going to 238cc+ buy a S468 and put a smaller turbine housing for now to get it lit.

i keep going back to the s366 so that's probally what it'll end up being. I don't plan on going bigger no time soon. I just want to drive the truck for awhile.

It spools fine. But prolly not much different then a stock turbo. The only reason I'm running this setup is because I sold my big injectors an kept the turbo, so I figured I may as well run it. What I'm trying to say is, power wise you're not gaining anything by running the 366 with stock injectors. But if you're planning to go with bigger injectors shortly, then yes, do the 366. But personally, I would prolly go with the smaller housing for anything less then a 238cc injector. And truck is auto trans.
