Which way should I go with a fuel system for 190/75s...

Sorry for all the recent threads. I did search on this already but....:postwhore:

No not really haha, but what Ive gathered is that some people use a A1000 system thats around 1000-1400 ( depending if its self-sourced or bought made up ) or get a 6.4 pump and feed the stock 6.0 pump...

Im going to be running 190/75s. So Im wondering if the cheaper 6.4 lifter pump would suffice or would I have to use the A1000 option? Im going to have a Driven Diesel RR installed too.

I want to nail this down, because I may just hold off the stud job and get the fuel system installed too ( if I go A1000 system ). If I go 6.4, I got a buddy that can give me a hand on that.

The aeromotive is proven and is cabable of supporting any injector in existence. You also have the ability to run cheaper high quality spin on filters, vs expensive Ford filters. The dual stock pumps "should" be fine however there is alot less data on them and you are stuck with expensive filters that are a bitch to change. The cost of filters alone will pay for the a1000 system over time. That's my opinion.

Marty's makes a nice kit I have one. I built one for a previous truck and all said and done it wasn't much cheaper than buying Marty's.

I didnt see where people specified injector size. Most people seem to run the big stuff around 200+ and 100+ nozzles.

6.4 pump is the way to go if you want to save money... Filters are a breeze to change(install the pump where I did Anthony- between the tank and the transfer case). You only have to change the 6.4 filter as from seeing how my truck is the 6.0 filter is like new still 6 months later. Run all new fuel lines, fittings, sump, and pump for under 400 bucks. 190/75's are not big enough to warrant a aeromotive. You could go both ways though, the aero is a solid setup. I am glad I did my 6.4 pump. I like saving money, as long as it gets the job done and if its done correctly- in deed it did.

Martys fuel kit would be around 900 or a hair less, since I have a Driven RR and going to run a sump... Thats with the a1000 though, I would guess he can swap that for the Fuelab. Brushless is a nice option to have at hand

I seen your post bro, few people advised against the 6.4 pump. I think mostly because its not proven yet, dont know though haha. hence the thread.

But that still doesnt answer my question, if Im going to need an aftermarket system or is the RR enough to maintain FP? Im going to be detuned until I get a 68mm and my trans, about 10mth from now.

The Irate Kit is a nice kit too. That is what I have on my truck. They can get you setup with a complete setup to work with whatever you have.
