So I recently have had a problem with my truck. When I get my truck to high rpms it blows a ton of white and blue smoke. Like I mean a ton if I really get on it. First thought was maybe the turbo?? So I checked play in turbo. Nothing turbo was fine. I have no idea what else it could be. Was told could just be dirty air filter?? Doesn't make much sense to me but it's worth a shot I guess. Any suggestions would be awesome thanks guys!!

How many miles on the engines and parts? Anything aftermarket?

Those will be the first things needed to help.

It has 227 thousand on it. Just installed a new injector in #3. Has a t500 hpop. Intercooler, and 6637 air filter, also has 3 inch down pipe with 5 inch straight pipe. Weird thing is is that this past weekend I drove it along ways to go camping and now it's not blowing smoke or anything. Still building a good amount of boost. Sounds super weird to me though!!

Does it smoke at start up? How much smoke? Is it pouring it out or a light haze? It could be your injector rings.

Ya probably but it took it awhile which was weird. And it used to smoke quite a bit on startup. Now there is nothing...

On my old truck they went bad and it would smoke white and fill the whole yard in the winter and in the summer would just do it a little bit but was still there.

I dont think it ended, it'll come back next winter. Im assuming it has something to do with oil temp, not sure what you run but think of it this way, 5w40 oil is like water until it warms up so at colder thumps it probably leaking through the rings a little more. Once it gets warm it becomes thicker and therefore stops.

We'll it was doing it in the summer also. So I don't think that's the problem. I could see oil coming out of the tail pipe right after the injector install. But after the injector install it blew whitish/blue smoke. Which was way weird!! And in the morning. No matter how hot or cold it is outside it would blow a ton of white smoke. Now it doesn't at all.

So my truck is acting kindof weird. It's blowing little to now white smoke in the mornings and isn't blowing any white or blue smoke when driving. But ever since it has started working correctly it takes forever for my truck to start. It cranks forever before my truck finally starts. Before it started right up. Any ideas??

I think you got that backwards. The viscosity of oil gets higher,(thinner) with higher temperature and lower viscosity at lower temperature. So with that said it would make more sense if they didnt leak on first startup then once up to temp. have oil get by the orings.

Ya sounds about right. The funny thing is now is that when there is black smoke coming out the back it's mixed with blue but then clears right up when I get into higher rpms?? Sounds kindof weird to me!!
