My truck frustrates me more than my wife. It continues to have issues. Every morning, it is a rough start, and blows white smoke/condensation for a good while. Let it warm up ~15 minutes, drive a mile up the street to chick fil a and nearly fog out the drive thru. Drive another 2 miles and hop on the interstate, and nearly fog out the interstate with the white puff. I've noticed that it has a considerable miss now. Not only when its cold, but also when plenty warm. If in 5th, and ease into the throttle, it will have a pretty considerable skip. It was REALLY bad yesterday pulling the bobcat while climbing a hill. Still, even without a load, you can tell somethings not as it should be. The only thing other than a skip that I can compare it to is my old 05 f150 when the spark plugs needed replacing and it would act like that. Its not pulling any codes. I just had a new injector put it because it was reading contribution/balance cyl 1 to try and help with the white smoke, but now its smoking more, but no more codes. Any help on the smoke issue and/or the skipping would be greatly appreciated!

No I haven't had it scanned. What do I need to ask the shop to be able to do? I had it scanned at ford awhile back and they didn't pick up anything. Going to take it to a different shop, but what do I need to ask them to do? Sorry, still learning a lot about this motor......

see if you can find someone locally with Auto Enginuity that can plug it in and get FICM voltage, power balance, ICP, etc. that should tell you what's up.

Does the smoke get any better as it warms up? Sounds like it needs injectors to me...

Had the oil changed ~2000 miles ago, and fuel filters maybe 5-6k ago if even that. Injectors are less than 6 months old. Had an o ring issue first, got that resolved, then Jess sent me another injector a few weeks ago for the code it was throwing. Going to a shop in a couple of hours to have it scanned. Yes, the smoke does get better as it warms up. But I bet if I left it warming up in the driveway, it would smoke all day. It won't clear up until I drive it several miles. How could the injectors be gone already?

There's you problem right there, the injectors. Unless you get injectors from ford and have them modded, you will get crappy modded cores in return plus a $1000 hit from your wallet to get them built.

I already have built injectors in there. They are warren 190/75's. I spoke with him yesterday, and he is going beyond what any typical vendor would do. Much like my own business, his name is on his work and he wants and is willing to make it right! Wont go into details, but one of the reasons I went with his injectors was the way everyone said how he stands behind his work and will do what it takes to make it right, and this situation backs that up. Looking forward to getting the new 8 injectors next week and getting them in. Hopefully this will cure both problems. Im sure the skipping, but hopefully clear up the morning smoke as well. thanks guys!

Will they be NEW (Reman) injectors modded from Ford, or are they going to be another set of injectors modded from a core pile?

How about the Vendors that dont have common issues??

I agree, things wont get better untill you get a new set of injectors.

Im not sure what they'll be, and frankly dont care as long as they work. Dont get me wrong, I wish I wouldn't have had this issue in the first place, but kudos to Jess for making it right. Just hoping this time its fixed.

A local kid to me went with some Warren injectors, I think he swapped injectors 4 or 5 times before finally getting 8 that worked ok. Same situation, built from cores, not new. With that said, Warren was very good at working with him on that. Frustrating for my buddy though having to dive in that many times to get it right, but he was warned...
