I've been looking at these wheels.

-25mm Offset / 4.5 Inch Backspace

will they fit an 04?

inner fender liner at full lock. just plastic that needs to be trimmed and pulled back. no bumper or leaf rubbing

how much of an offset do i need not to rub? or do i need to go to smaller wheels?

Wheel size is not the issue, it is the overall diameter of the tires when mounted on the rim. You can use a smaller offset to prevent rubbing on the leafs, but then you move the outer edge to a point where it will rub on the bumper and/or fender liner. Simple solution is use what you are planning on, and if you have leaf spring contact, drill and tap the steering stops and screw in a bolt. It will decrease the turning radius a bit, but not much.

I'm looking at putting an aftermarket bumper on there anyway. So should I go with more offset to prevent leaf rub?
