Will Updating H&S Cause Problems With DPF/EGR Delete?

tried searching, but i suck at it and not really sure what im looking for
anyways, our H&S hasnt been updated since i installed it a year or so ago. kinda dont like the way the trans acts/shifts anymore and was going to update it (not even sure how to do it )
but heard/seen somewhere that someone claimed if you updated the H&S that the new version has the pcm looking for DPF/EGR and the truck will no longer run without putting that junk back on (NO WAY IN HELL AM I DOING THAT)
anyways, just hear asking if there's any truth to that? and if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how i go about updating it?

If you have an off road tuner it will stay an off road tuner. You will upload the new firm wear and and update the tunes to your truck, it will ask you just like it did when you first got it, it will ask dpf present or removed.

i plugged the sd card in when on that link and it automatically started "H&S Updater 2.0" ao hopefully is doing what its supposed to and updating

what do you do when it says error reading from memory card?

Close the updater and try loading again

Close the updater and never open it again. Use the manual updater
