So my truck has currently a 66/74/.91 with 230/100's and all the supporting mods. Truck will be getting a built trans over the winter and a 2200 stall conertor.

Ive been thinking of going to a 371 fmw or a 467 maybe even a 475. Eventually id like to go compounds but i know that it wont be this winter. Whatever turbo I go with id like to be able to use it in a compound setup as well if at all possible. Seams like the common setup is a 66/88 for compounds.

Id also like to go to a thumper 1 pump to hold ICP with the 230's.

So what are your guys opinions, just keep the 66 on it and wait to go to compounds. Go to the 371 or 467 and keep the 66 for when I go to compounds? Just looking for some ideas really. :pimp:

467 would make good power now and if you are going and a charger to build compounds. 75 would make power just drivability but also easier on stock rods. And really doesn't drive that bad at all.

I can't make sense of that first sentence, your saying the 467 would work well in a compound setup as well?

I'd still like to be able to tow, that's the reason for wanting compounds. But compounds also mean a built bottom end for sure. Seams like most singles are okay on a stock bottom end.

I just feel like my driving habits, it would be best to have a built bottom.

I have found alot of ppl really liking the 467 so that may be something ill try.
