What's a good set of wheels/tires to use for the winter? I need atleast a 17" wheel to fit over the brakes, 18" to be safe. and i'd like to have a 37" tire. I'd rather go cheap on wheels vs tires though.

I would imagine a stocker of some sorts would be the best and cheapest route to go for the wheels.

For tires not soo sure, specially in a 37". I was very happy with my Nitto terra grapplers in paved road conditions, but getting into deep heavy snow they proved to fill up quick and not clean out (same as mud) but they did always pull through in 4x4. Stopping felt really confident with the terra grapplers. The toyo MT's I have now actually work quite nicely on the plowed winter roads too, but don't have the downfall of the nittos in the deeper wet/heavy stuff.

I am using factory 20's for winter wheels.

I have a set of factory 18's for sale if you are interested. No lug nuts or center caps though.

Haha yea I'm planning for next winter when I have the BMF's on. I'm running the Mazzi's through this winter then getting rid of them and puttin the SOTAs on.

Yea I figure 37 is going to be expensive, but 35's will look silly. I've got Toyo MT's right now and they seem to do decent. definitely debating a AT though. Thanks for the info!

i was using the toyo open countrys A/Ts on stock 17s on my '06, they were super quiet and decent in the snow

Thank you

I'd prob take you up on that if I had money at the moment, but I've got the next 6g's I get already spent in my mind. I typically plan all the mods to my truck 6 months to a year in advance to make sure I can afford it all with school and everything.
