97 power stroke has icp, fuel pressure, cps is good. All fuses are good. No codes Won't start any ideas?
Well i suppose water could have gotten somewhere, but it was running perfectly fine....we took the chip out and put the chip back in, fired it up....shut it off, then randomly would not fire with or without chip. did everything we could and finally gave up, came back in the morning and it fired first try.
Very weird
Sounds just like when my solenoid went up. Easy to test and replace.
Yeah, at least thats what mine what doing. I had to replace the harness for the batteries, hooked it back up no start. Played with it for a while, pulled the starter my dad was going to the parts store so he took the starter with him to test and the solenoid was bad. Replaced it and it was fine.
And quick question incase I missed it. Is the starter turning over and it just wont fire, or are you getting nothing?
Ok misunderstood, a bit different than my original problem. Is it slow to crank?
Huh, that is random. Had something like that happen the other day but mine cranked slower. It was the solenoid in the started sticking and staying engaged (need to lube it) and pretty sure water in fuel at the same time.
Yeah we will never know what happened, extremely random though. Only thing i can think of is we un hooked batteries for the night, and that might of reset things that were out of whack. Thats about the only explanation i can think of
