WTB 7.3 for 99 f250.

I have a buddy that wants to buy a motor for his 99 7.3 6 speed.He got quoted 13k for a rebuilt one from a salvage yard that they get from who knows were. I about died when he told me that. So i thought of swamps. Just throwing it out there for some advice. Thanks.

If you look around CL, or Salvage yards, you might be surprised what you find. I have picked up 5 motors each for under 1000. Check the classifieds here, or look up airfish or another member that I can't remember their username in VA, they have them for sale quite often as well.
