WTB Good Working E40D

Just like the title says im looking for a good shape Working E40d 4x4 transmission for my dads 97 Powerstroke. He had his flushed the other day and on the magnet there was a glob of metal shavings so its probably just a matter of time. Im located near lincoln nebraska and would be willing to sell the core also after we get the new one in. If anyone has one let me know, pm me or call/text 402 920 0643.

the 4R100 is a direct bolt in also, it might help broaden your search

I would not consider it "direct" but can be used. You will have to adapt the cooler lines and get a non PWM unit.

Buddy of mine has a rebuilt e40d 4x4 from rkl in Utah for sale. It has around 5000mi on it since rebuild. Only pulled for a manual swap. He wants $1200 for it. If that might work I can put you in touch with him.

Alright My dad Trans just let go in his truck today so I NEED a good working e40d. Would like to keep the price below the 700 dollar range but will consider anything.
