Friend of mine got a 2000 7.3 for cheap and wants to run 2.6 next year with it, so hes looking for a 4x4 zf6 or possibly swap trans for trans.

Im pretty sure the previous owner had it re built, but he had no idea what was done to it other than some "high performance" clutches a shift kit and a new converter.
