Like Jon said, we tried a 120 tune just to see what we could manage and the ICP completely tanked. Couldn't even make 1800 PSI and IPR was pinned at 94% at the tender speed of 1900 RPM. Even the 40T tune was causing a P1211 to pop up. Given that, imagine what this truck would do if it was actually holding pressure! The dyno is Mustang Dyno MD-250 Load Dyno. We keep the dyno calibrated regularly and nobody has ever really had a dispute with our power numbers. :D Yep, that's what we saw. I'm pretty astounded by it myself. Now somewhere it was posted that the wheel is something like 20+ grams lighter than the factory cast wheel. That, combined with a bit more pumping efficiency could certainly account for the gains. We're going to try this on Jon's truck This Friday and see if we continue to get similar gains. I'm also curious as to what the truck would do with a modified W/G controller like a TurboMaster or Banks BHA. I'm sure it would have some penalty on the Backpressure, but wonder how it would affect the boost and power. *SIGH* Things to investigate in the future. :pimp: ---------------- Anyway, just to clarify... The graphs below show the 40 Tow tune makes exactly what it's supposed to - 40 HP - at least before the stock tune starts to defuel and the power gains jump significantly. Here are the graphs: Stock Wheel - PHP 40 Tow vs. Stock - Graphs (Click on image to enlarge) Stock Wheel - PHP 40 Tow vs. Stock - Overall Gains (Click on image to enlarge) This is perfectly in line with what we normally see for a 40 Tow program on an otherwise stock truck. Take care.
