Does anyone have any specific information on what I would require on this swap? The biggest thing I want to clarify is regarding the harness itself.

IIRC, the driver side harness goes from the door panel through the the back of the dash and connects right under the windshield and the passenger harness connects through the next to the dash. I unfortunately don't have a OBS in my possession that has these options so I'm trying to figure this out to my best to my ability.

Other questions -

*my truck is a 96 OBS, would a harness from a 1991-1997 be the same for power windows/locks?

*Is the power windows/locks/mirrors the same harness as the vehicles with just power windows/locks?

*Any local junkyards to Virginia for these trucks that I could source this stuff?

Thanks for any help!

the harness connects to the dash harness under the steering column and then runs to the drivers kick panel and then continues just under the windshield to the passenger kick panel
I grabbed doors and harness from a 92 f150, the connectors do not match the dash harness, so I bojangled power to it from one of the existing connectors that were unused .

Thanks for the response... what year is your truck? I'd prefer an OEM connection so I'd probably need to find a later model truck since all I can find is a 1991 F150 harness at the moment.

Also, is cruise control a pretty easy thing to retrofit?

Thanks. Found another individual who has a harness for a 1996, waiting to see if it is a power mirror harness too.

If your truck has RKE, you will need a harness from an RKE truck. And try to find one from the same model year, Ford has this annoying habit of changing mundane little **** between model years like wiring connectors or the size of a bolt.

Nah, it doesn't have RKE, but I would like to retrofit that one day too. I read somewhere that a 93-95 Mercury Sable shares a common RKE harness that can be spliced in. I'm definitely not ready for that undertaking.

Still searching for the power window/locks/mirror harnesses though. A good amount of power window/lock ones, it's just the mirrors that is hard to find on these trucks (especially since it was not common due to them being useless for towing).
