ZF-6 Woes

My clutch is just about completely shot, I will be replacing it shortly. I am looking into some work on my ZF-6 while it is out. I am thinking of replacing the syncros in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. It also has started to in the last 30 miles forcefully pop itself out of 4th into neutral, is there a reason it is doing this and can it be repaired?

Reason it is doing it? Probably from being more religious about putting the "go" pedal all the way to the floor rather than the clutch, along with cramming and jambing gears! :slap:

Could be detents. or if there is some mainshaft bearing play. does it jump out when you throttle into it then back out suddenly? or does it try to pop out regardless?
