Willing to bet it's the same thing just a different file name. Only difference with the enhanced tunes from what I can tell is the convertor locks a lot more aggressive/sooner.

Could very well be the case. I received the normal files and a 600 aggressive lock which I assume would be the same as the enhanced files.

Ipkyss, on your tunes, does each one have an enhanced version? Ha you ran the 600 yet? I've got the 600 and a 600 aggressive lock. Far as I know, I don't have any that say enhanced, so I am just curious.

13-16 ******* tuning

I was looking up different mounting options for the nGauge. I found this in the vent of a gt500. How do you think it would fit in the superduty vent? How would you go about shutting the vent "off"?

It's been stated before that it will fit perfectly in the Super Duty vent also. As far as blocking the vent you could stuff it full of something behind the gauge or find that leg of the vent under the dash, remove it and cap it off.

So it's finally cooling off around here. Cold air and sea level is always good for making power...almost too good with the 550 enhanced tune. Couple that with cold roads and my heavy foot and every time I turn around I'm hearing tire spin. Not a bad problem to have but it could get expensive. lol

I love hearing all these positive reviews, really is making me want to ditch my SCT on my 16. What's everyone paying for these *******s?

I'm up to give the challenge a try. I'd much prefer a properly built, albeit late released, product over something rushed. Late delivery of the tools I needed to start development don't alter our mission in the least. Nor does it change the fact that our product will bring options to bear in the market that don't exist anywhere else. A market vacuum makes for easy market domination.

Which is exactly why SCT reigns currently, one might conclude. And if you are going to speculate wildly on the outcome of a product not yet even released, I'll argue semantics and point out that SCT actually offers nothing other in the 6.7 race market- much more qualified people, like ********** and ********, build and sell those products. Your post above is bordering on strawman.

For the immediate future, we are going to continue working on the best products within technical reach, and provide updates to our existing products to follow in line with what our current customers are asking for. 13-16MY support and improvements to our 11/12MY product were at the top of the list.

As to who remains king of the hill, I suppose time will tell. Perhaps my memory fails me, but I'm almost certain I recall you making a strikingly similar observation between ******* and H&S back in 2011. Something to the note of, ******* was irrelevant now that H&S offers a competing product?

An objective narrator might point out that it seems time settled that discussion, too.

I truly wanted to give your new stuff a try but $1300+ was a hard pill to swallow for a whole new set-up just to try it and maybe not like it. Maybe some day.

Just give it up Tonto, Matt is never going to read a post and think "you know what this moron is right, I should cut my price in half because who gives a crap about all the R&D that went into this.."

His product is obviously top notch because people are dumping other tuners for his on the daily. either put up the money for it or stop complaining, there is no use in it.

P.S. Nice edit

Anyone know what is the green , yellow and red light on the Top of Ngauge?

You set parameters , for example, like oil temp. You set the temps to correspond with the lights. It will stay green, then you set your caution temps (yellow) and your "get out of it" temps which will set the red lights.

Matt, any update on SOTF, TPMS ******, and most importantly exhaust brake in the lower tunes?

Putting the finishing touches on SOTF software tonight and tomorrow. Will take us a few days to get some BETA cables made up, and I'll probably be sending a small number of cables out to testers as soon as we return from new years, to try out and give us input on working product.

Due to aggravation with injection molding contractors, I have a 3d printer on order for the shop to produce the dash pieces for the knobs and mounts. I think you guys will be very pleased with the finished product :D It also provides a great stop-gap for us until we can get molds made, etc.

TPMS/Tire size isn't my department, but engineering emails have been flying back and forth. I'll be working on exhaust braking again immediately following SOTF Beta.

I can confirm that vent mounting works, and it fits great. You can anchor the unit with a simple strip of foam tape wrapped around the outside edge (make sure you leave a spot to access the memory card).

Careful note about this, though. You need to ensure during install that all airflow is completely blocked to the back side of the vent. Cold, damp air blowing through the tuner will condensate on the circuit board and cause damage if not.

Ask me how I know.
