California, I have killed two Dana 80's towing, motor was hurt, and I just wanted a change.

The 3/2's are in my 99 now, ECSB 4x4. It is like a sport's car compared to the dually.
you need some LE 704 in your rear diffs. it might not help with breakage but definitely helps with the wearing out aspect.. like stops wear from happening.

you can't run anything larger then 250/2 without a good big single turbo and gen 3 or twin oil to get maximum efficiency

once you get that handled your bottom end is on life line depending on your tuner / turbo,

also will need beehives & not just comp springs IMO.
holy fugin chit!!!

That's the plan, 467 most likely, and beehives to prevent breaking rockers with comp springd

I guess if it was up to me, and it was to be a DD, I am not sure why you would go with a 467 over a 369, especially one with a gated set of pipes. I realized the 467 is a proven setup, but the 369 compressor out flows the 467, should be easier to spool, and with a gate will let you keep hammering on top. Its already proven how well the 74mm turbine side of the s300sxe's are working.

Yeah I said that earlier, waiting to hear back on what would be best for this setup. I wrote earlier I was thinking gated 369, just don't want something with crazy backpressure

With the 366sxe, and a 1.0 housing it's 1:1 up to 40 psi. With my 238/100s back pressure peaked at ~65 psi. I posted videos before in a few threads. If you gated the pipes you shouldn't have any back pressure issues.

There's a big difference between 238/100's and 300/200's. s369sxe all the way with 100%'s.

I spin Nitto 420's in mild tunes with 350/200's and an s468 with a 1.10 housing, it's not a laggy setup.

200% nozzles should make things spool faster, I agree. But at that point, why wouldn't you want a turbo that spools faster and flows more air ? Please enlighten me.

A 369 Should out perform a 468 on both sides. And if you spent the extra money on the gated pipes, you wouldn't ever have to worry about back pressure on the big end. Plus you'd have more air then the 468 available too.

The only benefit in my mind of the 468 would be the larger shaft diameter. But I haven't seen or heard of anyone blowing apart a s300sxe yet.

You may not have any issues spooling a 468 or towing with it, but if there's a turbo that spools faster (and should be even faster yet with your nozzles) and flows more air, why on earth wouldn't you ?

The OP can do what he wants. I just hate bad logic.

Came on here to learn, listening to both sides

I honestly don't think you would go wrong with either choice. But IMO one slightly outperforms the other. And for DD purposes a gated 369 is the ticket. Just my .02, but I'm trying to keep the smoke down, and the power up, and shift gears myself, so all of this is that much more important to me.

True, mine is auto, don't want instant torque either on the low end, trying to keep the rods inside the block!! All in the tuning I guess

Man, just got hit with a bigger number than expected to have the injectors I bought gone through and repaired... glad I played it safe and didn't just install them, but definitely put a a delay in the plans.. could have bought beehives and pushrods with that money!
