If he made it right I probably wouldn't give to $$hits about how it looked.
But having that many issues and telling me I'm bitching while I been patient is bull$hit hands down.

For 1 the first product sent was correct. Stage3 however it was epoxied and damaged. I fixed it by welding it and paid for it to be done. And go to install and it didn't fit. Ok shipped back and when soot got it back he did nothing but compliment it.2 months later I get this product with no porting just machined runners. This isn't what I agreed on. Then to have him tell me lies bout epoxy is needed for when you port? Then please explain why everyone else ports the holes with out epoxy? Then to low ball me and comp me $30 for tigging a complete manifold. It's bull$hit. Then I have to pay two way shipping for him to fix his **** up. **** that punk

Oh I'm not calling you a liar at all. If that's how it all went down that really sucks and isn't right at all. Hope your luck gets better.

Does anyone know what kind of epoxy he uses? For it to crack like that it wasn't allowed to set up right IMO. I've used Rectorseal EP-200 on trailer ramps and driven tractors on them with no cracking. Stuffs awesome.

Any update? Has he tried making it right? Looks like he's been MIA on the forum lately.

06_Whitebull did you get yours?

just because it shows he hasn't visited the site doesn't actually mean he still can't see what's being said or what's going on. You can still view posts and thread without logging in....which i'm sure that's what he's doing. This way it'll make people think he hasn't seen this, but actually probably has.

Well I got mine. Epoxy used, but no cracks. Like the others, it came in a plastic tote with 5 pillows for packing material. I don't understand that at all. I ship product almost everyday and know he spent more on packing supplies than if he went to the UPS store and bought a cardboard box and foam.

I'll put it on in a week or so and see how it does; I'm cautiously optimistic.

So this begs the question, has anybody received a Soot Powered manifold that isn't a absolute piece of junk?

I have one that I installed about a month ago. Fit and finish was great, no problem with it being warped, no leaks, and all hardware fit as it should. More importantly it performs beyond my expectations.

I bought a set of injectors from Matt a couple months ago. I have never installed injectors before. I asked Matt a simple question about installing injectors because I was a little intimidated about the job.

The man took time out of his schedule and drove over to my house and taught me how to install them. He did the driver side explaining what/why/how. Then he stayed while I did the passenger side to ensure I did it right.

I am not here to defend the guy, he can do that himself. But from my past experience with Matt, he is a stand up guy and won't leave you hanging.

Just curious does Doug Steve or Elite use epoxy on their intakes ? If not then why is he ?

Soot says he uses epoxy internally to increase flow and can't weld due to the heat damaging the epoxy inside.

As of now I'm still waiting for my money order of $80 for shipping the first manifold back, a cost of $50 shipping and $30 for tig welding a complete manifold. With a air leak still on the rear portion of the manifold.

Increase flow any proof to take or just word of mouth. Doug's had a cfm increase so where's his proof ? Pretty sure the channels in doug's are gone as well so its almost completely open internally.I would wether its welded or not, a smooth surface is a smooth surface with less friction. But that's my opinion.

I totally agree with you, so far people with Doug's have all had positive gains. Myself and a local powerstroke owner with this soot manifold can't really say there is anything positive. No better turbo spool up no lower egt, mine still leaks, my buddies no leak but no gain like he was told.

LOL I didn't even get pillows in mine. This was my thought also on the packing process he uses.
