Well after hauling the truck and all of its parts to the dealer today they have me a price of 21,000 dollars to get it back on the road.... F### that! I'm gonna sell it and buy a new (to me) truck. The 7.3 is gonna go bye bye too.

Man, you ought to sell me the mirrors and headlights before you get rid of it. Probably get more money parting it out, than selling as a non-running truck. I am sure there's some good parts on it that people need.

$21k to get it back.on the road though....I don't know what all it needs, but I would be finding a different place to take it.

A rebuilt "crate" 6.0L here at the dealer is over $10,000.
Plus their time to put it in...

I've pulled my engine 3 times with the cab on...by myself.
I would just rebuild the engine you have, and run it.
