near as i can tell and i am sure there is a trick here and there but the jr is a stock pump with ball bearings. maybe just by switching to ball bearings it helps maintain pressure better?

see above quote..

I think David posted that because it's been asked several times what it will support with proof and it's always the same answer. Oh we are busy but we will get data logs.........

Here is some info from a while back I had posted.

http://powerstrokearmy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21637&highlight=adrenaline+icp&page=16

I since put HBJ on my 97 with the 230s and had it dyno tuned by Jonathan. It held 3000+ at 41-42 DC. It held 3400 for a few runs too, as we were trying to diagnose and issue. ( I think my 910s are holding seat pressure).

I have a few vids on my phone but haven't set it up on a computer yet. I could txt them to somebody if they wanted to post them up.

Maybe this will help end some of debate.

On edit: I also watched Jon build several pumps. The HBJ is not just a "ball bearing upgrade" it is a fully remand pump FULL of new and upgraded parts.

Fair enough Jason. Not trying to call you out. But like I said, if it's better than an adrenaline and will hold pressure, I will buy it.

Allow me to appologize for not getting them on here sooner. I am the forum part of this operation and do it on a part time basis..it's on me for not getting them up. I need to get them from Jonathan and have forgotten to ask for them on many occasions. Believe me, Jon has zero time and puts in 15 hr days trying to get ahead of these pump and tuning orders...hell I play the lottery each time I actually get to talk to him...it's that rare.

I promise guys.... I will do my best to post the info requested.. we are not trying to hide anything..it's more me actually remembering to ask him for it.

Never felt like it was a call out David!!!!

It's a fair request from a potential customer looking to make an educated decision!!

I will make it a priority to get them up ASAP!!!!

It was said before Jonathan's truck was running a Sr pump with 300/200s not a Jr. Has he since ran the jr with these injectors.

I'm on the fence of putting my jr in with my 300/200s Was holding out till the sr came and send it in for the upgrade but now that it going to be longer than anticipated may give it a shot and see if it holds.

Be a very good comparison of before and after the upgrade. Run some data tests along with it.

Both pumps were on his truck. (the Sr. is still on there) his truck is our test mule. EVERYTHING we make goes on that thing.

Give it a shot, as mentioned many times, the Jr. was not meant for those injectors but you have a free upgrade to cash in anyway...your not losing anything. I'll be checking in with Jonathan about the parts for the Sr's and getting some data logs..

Ok. I knew people used to say anything over 3600 was baf or.counterproductive.

I see mine occasionally get well into 3400 and once during a wot run i watched it stay at 3600 winding out 3rd gear.

PS-ill call you when I get a chance to get some tuning ordered for these PIS 250's. I havent forgotten Jason.

There's a pressure by-pass at 3600 in a stock pump.

A big oil manufacturer that I haven't seen post in a long time used to talk about shimming it closed so his customers could go to 4000.

And on an old engine I had, with smaller injectors and a medium pump and some older tuning, in first and second gear the RPM climb would outrun the IPR rate, netting 3600ish ICP in 1st gear and 3300ish ICP in 2nd. On a tune calling for 3100.

So... I want a straight forward answer.

Will it hold pressure with 250/200's? I mean, hold pressure, at 3000 psi?

I still have yet to see any factual evidence.

I will gladly take one and test it for you. If it holds pressure like claimed, Ill buy it.

I will datalog it and test it. Then there will be no more bs. And people will "know" what they are buying.

Pretty sure Joe is running 250/200's so...

Joe, does it hold 3000 on your truck?

I'm running Tim's 230/100's and have no issues with 3000psi.

4000 miles on mine in 2+ weeks.

I need 200% info! LOL

Some notes from Jonathan........

300/200 P.I.S. injectors

Honey Badger Jr. pump

Jonathan tuning (PW was set to 3ms)

Calling for 3000 psi at wot..

Pump help 3000 psi at 55% dc

Truck did 588 on the dyno

Next.........

Upped the PW to 3.4ms

Called for 3000 psi at wot

Pump held 2850 psi at 58% dc

truck did 596

next...............

upped PW to 4ms

called for 3000psi at wot

pump went to 3000 psi then fell off the table to around 1800 (then again, every medium oil pump we tested did this)

Joe how long did this take you to do and what other little things did you have to buy? Like gaskets and such. My stock HPOP is shot so I'm looking into what gaskets and Orings I need to buy desperately from the pump. And a time frame as well. Thanks.

You shouldnt have to buy anything. You should get a new gasket with the new pump. If not they are to.be had at any parts store.

The fittings should be in the pump. So you wouldnt need anything there. Maybe clean your ipr while you have the whole mess out.
