The truck is a 2002 7.3 with 6 spd. i have 122k and a con o clutch was put in 10 years ago at 65k. The truck is having an issue where it won't go into gear on when you start it up. While driving, it is not an issue. It will shift fine. I can then shut it off and get back in 20 minutes later...

Hmmm, I have not. But, the pedal does seem to go smoothly through the full travel. Does that matter?

I replaced my hydraulics and all seemed fine. I went for a 10 mile drive. When I got back I went to change gears and it would not shift. I shut the truck off, pumped the clutch 5 times and now it works fine again. Bad part? Air bubble? Big problems?

I am looking to take some parts of a wrecked 7.3. Many things have already been taken, but I believe the IDM is still there. The truck is a 99-03 superduty. I have a 2002. Will the IDM serve as a spare? If so, what is a fair price? Thanks.

My clutch hydraulics failed. I bought a pre-bled unit. Anybody have a write up on how to replace this? Thanks.
