What is this? It's attached to the driver side of the hitch, 2008 F450. Looks like some kind of vibration damper, a metal puck attached with rubber to a frame.

Just upgraded my tow rig, took it on its first road trip, 1550 miles from VA to TX. Light load, only about 6k or so, but it pulled it great. Huge upgrade over the 2000 F-250, especially when it comes time to move my 15k FW across the country to Washington.

I didn't notice much of a change in 80DD mode either, I think a lot of that tune's changes are in the transmission programming for the auto, to change the firmness and timing of shift points. I did notice a difference, but I drive around in 100 Performance mode most of the time.

Nope, active duty in the Navy. Retiring in a couple of years, making myself mobile so I can move wherever I want for my next career. I've thought about a dually conversion, but probably not going to bother. Just going to use these: Vision Wheels

My house. GVWR on it is 15,500 lbs, probably rolls across the scales at 14k loaded, still need to weigh it. Airbags on the back, probably going to 19.5 wheels and tires soon. Pulls and stops it fine, no complaints.

I have a 2000 EC F250. Right now I have the system from my old DD (Nissan Altima) in it, Pioneer head unit, MTX 4 channel amp, Infinity Reference 6.5" components in the doors, and an Infinity 10" sub in a box sitting between the front buckets and the rear bench. I want to use the box that fits...

My truck is an XL and doesn't have foglights, but there is a wiring plug for them in place behind the bumper, and the headlight switch pulls out, so I'm guessing mine is wired up already for fogs. Check and see if yours has the wiring in place already.

I couldn't find any 12 ga fuse link wire close by, so I bought some 14 ga, and wired 3 lengths inline where the 2 12 ga links were. Running like a champ now, charging perfect. This will get me by until I can order the correct 12 ga fusible link wire.

I started my truck up this morning to warm up to go to work, and it died on me, just shut off. I started it back up and it started smoking from under the hood (and got sucked into the heater vents), so I shut it off. Something electrical, and it went out when I shut it down. Got to looking...

For the people thinking about switching to Odyssey batteries, the Sears Diehard Platinum are the same battery, just different color case and Sears stickers. About $100 cheaper than the Odyssey, 4 year free replacement. Have one in my Jeep that sits for long amounts of time, a current draw killed...

I got ISSPRO EV2's in my truck; pyro, boost and fuel pressure. Easy install, work great, and match the dash pretty well.

My new master/slave cylinder came in yesterday and I slapped it in, works like a champ now. Really glad I didn't have to pull the transmission to fix it.
