    Patriot tires

Depending upon exactly how gnarly of a tire you're looking for, Cooper has some solid offerings. I put some Discoverer STT Pro's on about 12,000 miles back and love 'em. Plain, factory size, 275/65R20 ran me around $1300 if I remember right. Best thing is, Cooper is all-American. Very minimal...

    most miles on a 6.7l

Had mine for just over a year now, just a few hundred miles shy of that coveted 15k mark lol...not bad considering I'm gone for half the year for work...i'm hoping for the 350k mark before I gotta overhaul it. By then, who knows? There just might be some /serious/ toys to add to it under the...

    Singles or Duals

i'd agree with the above...a single exit pipe will have a more efficient flow out, as the dual has to channel from a single out into a dual-out. If the truck has the capacity for real-deal true duals, that would be more logical, but for most anything newer, a single exit coming down from the...

And the move is now generally completed...out in Katy now. Not too bad an area over there...lot less hustle and bustle from that ol' Galleria thing there. Dare I say...relaxing, even? Nah, not gonna go that far lol

    6.7 reliability issues?

I love my 250, nothing crazy with it thus far past maybe the truck starting to slowly settle itself out. I've got around 1700 on the ticker so far (a hair above, actually, I think), and so far the best I've seen has been 19.2 mpg, according to the truck's info center. I'm averaging around 17.5...

Anyone felt their tranny go "whump" yet?

Today after doing a bit of running around, I went to park back at my usual spot at the apartment (only until the end of Feb, mind you...then it's house time!) Anyhoo, moral of the story is, I pressed in my brake pedal, as is customary, and went to shift to Park. During this, the truck lurched a...

    another new one from TX

Just outside the loop, between San Felipe and Westheimer. Until I move when my lease is up next month, that is. Then, then I'll be elsewhere (still greater Houston area though...Sugar Land or Katy, most likely.)

heh, seems like y'all are from generally right close! I'm currently in Houston (trapped in that God-forsaken Galleria thing, for now). Actually have in-laws that have property in Willis, 01Plat.

Howdy all, thought I'd a pop in on here and say hello before I went too far overboard ever'where else on the forum thingy here.
