Just to help with the fitment issues, I use self tapping screws on the edges of my rollpan. ...as for the 99-07 and 08-10 difference is in the shape of the bed..... it's minor but causes the issue....the 99-07 has a more rounded bumper cutout on the bottom whereas the 08-10 is more squared...

Hey guys, I ordered new gears finally after 5 years of wanting them.....I ended up getting some sterling 10.25 4.56 gear set....I have a sterling 10.5.....everyone I spoke to said they'd work ( I got them super freaking cheap......less than the cost of 1 set brand new and they're new never...

Well my old girl is finally getting some lovin....ordered a new trans, 4.56's, taillights, oil, ujoints, 18" custom made drop hitch and finally putting her back on the road after a year.

Haha not with how my luck has been the last few years buddy ;-) only reason I'm doing gears is because I want to prolong it.....no longer in the military so no more deployment funded truck parts....gotta be family minded with the new baby too...truck got put last now lol

Oh ok, now that makes sense. I'm going with motive gears, haven't read any negative reviews and about 1/2 the cost...everyone has had great luck with them. Chad

The master has Every single bearing and bushing, the basic just has the minor ones....I'm not completely positive but what I've seen is about 80.00 difference.
