    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

Sorry for the confusion. Just do it all on the projector ordering page. In the pull down menus select the color and wattage of the HIDs you want, and under the wiring harness menu select the 9007 bixenon.

If 9007/HB5 is the stock replacement. If you are doing projectors you'll need H1. The 9007 kit comes with a plug n play relay harness, I think that's why its $15 extra.

    Good Fuel mileage

I wonder if a manual lock-up switch would produce the same result in any gear with the E4OD. Mine cuts fuel with the converter locked in 3rd (>31mph) and 4th. I think there could be a few tenths of a mpg being able to lock it up in 2nd and also be able to "injectors off" coast longer.

    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

Yes, as far as a I know there is no better place to get them for cheap. It doesn't matter what "brand" you get, there's only one or two factories in Asia making these things. Thanks! I suppose not having to swap the headlights will be ok. However, it's still a pain pulling the batteries to get...

    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

Actually my eBay headlights didn't yellow at all, the side markers were quite yellow, and the bumper lights were yellowing. From the stampings on my new set they look to be from the same factory. I'm hoping the headlights stay clear given the effort of retrofitting. Still, annual changes for the...

    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

Yea I believe 35w is recommended. Maybe bulb life will be reduced, maybe not. We'll see, as the days get shorter I'll be using these alot.

    Good Fuel mileage

Sometimes I wish I had 3.55s! I'm turning 2400 at 70. I usually do 65 in the 70 zone because my mileage falls off a cliff above that. If you're in gear and let off the gas does it cut fuel?

    Good Fuel mileage

That's great mileage. Here's my Fuelly profile: http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-350/1997/Wicked94Z/152844 I keep religious track of my mileage and usually fill up at the same station. I have an auto with 4.10s and 285s. I do a lot of coasting and drive slow.

I should note that the cutoff only looks higher on the drivers side, and just high in general ,due to the slant of the pavement I was on.

    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

I got everything from retro-solutions. Already had the bi-xenon hid kit for them (9007 replacement) so I just ordered the correct H1 bulbs for the projectors. High beam solenoid wires connected right to the ballast wiring. Here's the eBay units I got for like 84 bucks...

    Retrofitted H1 Projectors

Here's my latest upgrade. I wasn't too happy about my previous ebay clear corners only lasting about a year before yellowing. I decided to retrofit projectors while I was changing them out. I used my existing retro-solutions digital ballasts with new 55w 4300k H1 bulbs. The output, beam pattern...

Swapping my OBS over to SD stuff but will stay non-ic due to copious amounts of water injection.
