    Headlight foot dimmer switch again...

So in addition to being fully lit, the streets where you drive must all be perfectly straight as well. Dumbass.... Let me guess.... you love pitbulls? lol. Dipsh*ts are easy to spot. This thread isn't for you. Go find one about doing whipits or drinking brake fluid.

    Headlight foot dimmer switch again...

Idiots that actually prefer doing NOTHING with an entire appendage for minutes to hours on end while they switch hands back and forth on the steering wheel hundreds of times in the same distance, this thread clearly isn't for you. Go beat yourselves to death with a tack hammer. And anyone who...

    Headlight foot dimmer switch again...

Anybody put the super convenient foot well headlight dimmer switch back into service on a newer truck like a superduty? I'm headed down that path because I'm tired of taking my hands off the steering wheel in a turn over and over and over and over while my left foot sits and does nothing for...

This file cranks confidently and quickly. Only been 15 degrees here so far, but it cranked immediately. Idle has been smoothed some more and generally the engine is more tame still. Still PMR's and stock trans with 300/200's as the setup this program is written on.

He's talking about changing not the variables Ford wrote in, but the functional code itself that is running the engine. And yes, it's doable, it's all in hex as far as I know. And no, nobody at Ford is going to care what 5 people do with a 7.3 now or ever. I wrote code that totally bypassed...

Zero wouldn't work, the universe would implode.... but 1.00 would. I would actually like to do that if it weren't for the fact that aside from that table and the "adder to pulsewidth multiplier" table, there's no way to achieve a starting fuel allowance that doesn't also translate into more...

I'm thinking about trying to locate some of the 42 pin connectors and making a small breakout box that will feed a video signal into my head unit like a backup camera where I can have live timing, pw and icp on the lcd like a huge tuner monitor. Because the values the scanner gives me don't...

I can't open the files on this desktop, no tuning software. Can you do multiple machines with the same license? Otherwise, when I'm at home where my laptop usually sits, I'm running full speed doing other things.

Driving to work this morning I feel pretty good that this is working the same as it seemed to yesterday. Last night I captured the values at around 150 or so degrees where the break over point seemed to be where points beyond started climbing again, and pasted those exact values all the way out...

On the advice of nearly everyone, I took a long hard look at the "Fuel Pulsewidth Multiplier" and found that it was not stock, as well as one other thing unrelated to cold-weather cranking. After putting this table to stock, the truck smokes easily half what it did, if not less right off the...

$100.... $200..... $300.....$400..... ???? What??? What does it cost to get information in this thread? How much does someone want in order to fork over info? How much does the file cost that tells a VDH to STFU? I mean how much money do people actually make selling programs for a 7.3 each...

I take it the whole idea of telling the VDH not to worry about the trans being simple is as concrete now as it was when I asked the same question a few months back, before shelling out over $300 for an AEB... Or did somebody want to speak up on that one? I'm sure people wanting to run a manual...

Did I miss the part where you said what to change in the PCM? I have no problem running a VDH if it's not flat retarded. I can't try what I don't know. I already tried everything I could think of and everything suggested to me. Surge, surge, surge some more... Did you already say what to...

Lol, how do you think I was able to watch live in-cylinder pressures and give the above account? That was probably 7 or 8 years ago though, so I'm going from memory. Should be accurate though. Memory is usually pretty good.

The pw at the bottom of the map has more to do with what happens when you place your foot back on the pedal. Get it too high and the truck will snap and break your neck plus the cruise will be a nightmare and if it's high enough the truck won't come down to idle. Get it too low and the bottom...

Alright, after getting back today from my changes in order to increase cranking fuel allowance I have some comments... I went on a shotgun attack of anything related to lazy cranking fuel in hopes of scoring a hit and working back from there: First off, after seeing a 3 second delay with MFD...

How many times? lol. I changed every value IN the damn thing before I went and bought a 300+ dollar PCM and started all over again on a blank file don't you imagine??? Tell me the magic value to change. Plenty of people would love to know. Hell, I might put the thing back in there just...

I didn't do anything different when I tuned AD's for the first time in this gray truck a while back. Set pulsewidth based on smoke and power. I honestly don't care if it's split or single. A split shot might as well just be an injector with a small nozzle. Nothing dramatic about the...
