    They are 6.0 style manifolds, but beefier. Not sure on the performance gains, since I built mine for longevity. I'm sure others will comment on the performance you'll pick up. I also don't experience any louder exhaust with them on. I believe I bought mine straight from BD .

    I'd really consider the bd manifold and up pipes. I'd also question the weight your estimating for your cab. Does anyone have accurate weight for a crew cab? I don't doubt that you'll be able to lift it with your hoists, but it's always good to have actual weights.

    I rebuilt my motor last summer and just put stock thermostats in at the time. I see 192-194* all day long. That being said, I don't have the ambient temps you have. The best I can compare to is about 90*. I'm thinking you have other issues if it runs 200*+ empty.

    If the cap just moves around a bit, that's normal. Now, if it gets completely blown off, you have problems. D-leet as soon as possible. Get a contribution/balance test done, not necessarily in that order. Good luck, hope the motor is ok.

    My engine builder suggested Cat ELC. When I refilled my coolant system, I did not use the vacuum system. I just looked up the coolant capacity and made sure I put that much in. And they're right, when you separate the hoses, you'll get drenched.
