wondering what others running the single s473 turbo are getting for MPG's??? and what tuning they are using??

wondering if anyone has some suggestions, i have the door ajar and check brakes lights on, the only lights working on the cluster are the warning lights, i have tried changing out to new batteries, ran tons of tests on it with ids didnt really get anywhere, one test came down to it being the pcm...

thanks for all the help everyone, i finally located it, a stupid little piece of metal down inside the back passenger cab corner, at certain rpm points with the single turbo exhaust tone it decided to rattle, almost lost sleep over this one.......

okay, i checked out my manifolds tightened all but the few below the heat shield on the passenger side, still making the noise, so looked closer, and found that my ebp sensor that i tapped into the manifold was cross threaded:doh:, so fixed that issue expecting i would be off and running, but...

i did just completely rebuild the motor, and manifolds, up-pipes and turbo gasket all appear to be doing there job:)... . i never had this noise before with the factory twins on, but then again the exhaust is a lot deeper tone, so may be a vibration with the different pitch......

that was what I first thought but, all looks fine there is no soot anywhere, which if it was leaking it would blacken up pretty quick.....

anybody running a single turbo have a high pitch squeal sound from the exhaust, mostly hear just before the truck shifts when it is in the higher rpm's??? wondering if it may be an exhaust leak, but before I go any further that way, I am also wondering if it could possibly be a noise from the...

not sure how he is liking it, but I have s472 on stock fuel as well, runs great, egt's are awesome, totally happy with it.........:thumbup:

Thanks again everyone for replies. THANKS MPD for the kit, had to do a few tweaks and some custom fab work on the kit to make it work but with a little extra effort to be expected on a custom kit like that, the S472 is installed. on mild box tune on Mini Maxx, no power and huge lag. cloud n it

sounds good maybe will have to see how the tune runs with a 472. I think I am pushing my luck with only doing an airdog for fuel mods, but I guess I will see, got the kit finally hoping to install next week:popcorn:

tunning it probably is posted somewhere but can't connect with it right now, but when you install a single turbo do you have to do tuning? or anything, or can u just hook it up and drive it, and only do tuning to make it better?

mpd anybody install the mpd t4 install kit for a single turbo using the factory up pipes? how much harder is it to do with the cab on?? only reason I ask this is my engine is out of the truck getting parts added to it, and this weekend I will be bringing the truck back in and lifting the cab...

sorry I am new to this, a s466 1.10ar what should the turbine size be, if using with stock fuel?? and also will a s466 go on the MPD t-4 kit for the factory up pipes? if so what size of flange is needed on the turbo for the downpipe, and CAC flange?? not sure if this makes any sense?

well living in sask in doesn't get any flatter than this..so this setup might work....I haven't actually got the turbo yet, so I still have time to change, thinking since you've been running a single, if u had the option to change size what would go for...... would like the s400 series cause of...

okay so it is possible to do, with tunning is it still laggy though, or can u get it to lite fairly quick?? I take it u used mcc to tune it, did u use someones tunes, or just do your own tweaking

anybody running a single s472 compressor with .83 turbine and a .90 housing?? wondering if an airdog 165 will provide enough fuel for DD.....
