    What would cause this?

    What would cause this? Lack of lubrication or weak valve springs? There was valve to piston contact. The motor had right at 300k miles and ran comp 910s shimmed. Other mods are in the Sig only difference the turbo was a 38r at the time

    Ive ran a set of shimmed 910s for about 2 years on my daily driver. The truck blew a headgasket at 300k miles so I decided to rebuild the whole motor. Upon tear down I noticed valve to piston contact on 5 of the 8 pistons. All springs were shimmed to 1.750-1.760 and the valves still hit. My...
