Issues with balancing a 35" tire

So came to firestone to balance my 35s on XD 20x9" wheels on my 08 f350. 3 of the 4 balanced just fine. Didn't have issues just wanted do do my rotation and rebalance. Should it be that difficult or are 35s known for having balancing issues?

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

Yeah, at idle it was pushing through and with boost the hissing got louder at idle it was a slight his. Considering I just had the pipes replaced and the issues I've been having have been in the turbo area I looked there first. I just put my hand around the turbos feeling for it

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

He showed me the gasket, same one from Rudy's diesel a generic type waffle texture vs the factory ford all metal gasket. All burnt up and barely anything there, just detoriated from the heat. I also pin pointed the leak from the turbo to up pipe before I dropped it off.

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

So like an idiot I used the wale designed style gaskets when they replaced the pipes and didn't buy new Ford ones and the dam gasket that came with the up pipes blew on the driver side turno. Couple of hours of labor to replace that 1 gasket and the pssenger side if it goes is going to be just...

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

So I tore down all the heat shielding from above the turbos as it was saturated in oil from the turbo feed line issue I had a week ago. Well after some burnt skin and what felt like a long drive home hearing straight hissing the whole way. Turned out to be a spot on the back side of the driver...

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

Yeah I was thinking exhaust as well, up pipes from Rudy's are new and the cross over from the passenger side up pipe to the driver side EGR cooler was bought used. If it is I'm gonna charge it to the game, that's another 1100 at least to get it fixed. The first leaks didn't start off like this...

hissing coming from behind the dash, most likely from turbos

Driving to work this morning and as I am passing a slower vehicle 75% throttle from 55 to 70ish no radio on I start hearing this hissing noise coming from behind the dash. Pretty noticeable, I couldn't identify it yet because it's still dark but I'm think the vanes in the VGT turbo stuck. Boost...

    Freaking oil everywhere

Yes, confirmation that it was actually the turbo oil feed line I guess the bolt that holds it onto the block backed itself out and I guess it was leaking from the top of the block. They didn't charge me the 2 gallons of spilled oil that diagnosed the issue and they didn't charge me for the new...

    Freaking oil everywhere

Regular oil pump??? They said it's fixed and not leaking so I'm happy. I'll ask again and have them try and point it out and come back with a better answer.

    Freaking oil everywhere

Update. Shop said it was a line from the High pressure oil pump. I guess whatever bolts it to the pump was stripped out. Shouldn't cost but a couple hours of labor and they are washing it down and it'll be good to go. Retraced my steps this morning on my route to work and I didn't locate any...

    Freaking oil everywhere

It wasn't pouring out as it was pouring it, it didn't come out until after I poured it, looked underneath and saw nothing got in the truck, started it and stepped down. That's when It started pouring out. Getting towed I'm today.

    Freaking oil everywhere

I did fill and by the time I stepped down from the driver seat it was already pouring on the floor, probably with the same flow as a open oil drain plug maybe a little larger. I was on a 24 hr guard shift last night and around 12 am, 2 am and 4 am I took my rounds checking locks in my truck...

    Freaking oil everywhere

Holy ****, I'll settle for a loose line. Even the last time I cranked it over it was still running fine.... hopefully they'll be able to figure out tomorrow without having to take apart the whole truck

    Freaking oil everywhere

Thanks 6.0 Tech, I had to step back for a few, worked a 24 and didn't get off until 8 this morning. Might leave it to the "experts" who have a little more patience than me. So much for saving my income tax.

    Freaking oil everywhere

Yea I already decided to have it towed to the shop today or tomorrow. No CELs, no knocking or any crazy noises of any sort, started right up just fine. I'm hoping that's a good that it isn't anything too bad.

    Freaking oil everywhere

Will do shipmate, thanks. Read up on the glow plug harness issue, praying to god that's not the case, I guess people get the spilled oil and the engine isn't hitting 100 percent/missing and then they get a code. Mine was actually running pretty normal. FML

    Freaking oil everywhere

I'll do that jonnydime, thanks. I went ahead and cleaned it up a bit, put about 13 qts since the dipstick wasn't showing anything but the low oil pressure light wasn't on. Let it settle for a few minutes turned the truck back on and within 10 seconds the all of it was on the floor but not clean...

    Freaking oil everywhere

Just got my 08 f350 SRW back a couple weeks ago from getting the up pipes, and EGR crossover pipe replaced due to faulty flex portions. Truck has been running very good considering its stock and I've been driving it daily to work 70ish round trip. Well on my way home from a 24 hour guard shift...
