You got any oil leaks? Especially at the rear of the engine. The way its running sounds like an icp sensor.

The smoke does look like an egr valve though too. I would pull the egr and look at it at least. The icp is a bit harder to get at. Does not look like a ficm though. Ficm would be white smoke.

using the filter that came with the cap, i still have the original cap as well lol living on a rock in the middle of the alantic you take what you can i just do oil changes often enough to be classified as a oil "flush" lol

Don't think its that bad, but i'll clean it and see what happens

No doesn't look terrible. Did it run any better with it unplugged? Could be ***ked electrically or somethin too.

ran the same, i clean it anyways replaced the gaskets and same thing happened, i let it warm up more and when i reved it the black that came out was intense and it stalled out when it came back down from the rev and it was banging bad

Try npluggng the programmer and see what happens. I had a bully dog that had an ebp issue that would send it to forced idle. Maybe something screwed up in he box.

Programmer is unplugged, unless you mean return the truck back to stock from the programmer?

I would try returning back to stock see what happens, if all good then go through your tunes, it can be possible that something might have happen to a tune which i think would be very rare, but it wont hurt to try.

back to stock, when i first start it has a weird whomp whomp whomp whomp coming from the engine bay, then when it returns to idle it slowly fades away. are the cheap amazon egr valve any good? just to get back on the road for a month or two? or so i save and get ****** kit?

Does it crank over fairly even? See if maybe you can get a video of the noise. That sounds weird...

alright got my autoenginuity, tests came up cylinder 2 injector circuit contribution / balance fault
cylinder 2 misfire detected.
bad injector?

I dont know if it can, never used one. Did the buzz test pass? All sound close to the same click?

from what i can tell yes. going to do it in the daylight today anyways. last evening / night was -17c outside and hard to do anything lol
