After a year of negotiations, my wife finally talked me into getting a 2012. I need driveway space for the new rig, so my old sweetheart has to go. Actionable feedback appreciated on the truck, price, etc.

It is a 2000 F-350 CrewCab Longbed 4X4 Lariat with 198k miles. List of features:

Sorry, I meant to put the price into the ad. I'm looking to $16,700. Buy the mods, get the truck for free, lol.

As far as I can tell, this has been a Texas truck. I have no history on it prior to me owning it, but I bought it in 2005 with 85k on the clock. It was a really clean truck then, and I feel it fared well since.

It sits on a 4" lift with Bilstein 5150s (dual) in front and Ranchos in the back.

What are the cylinder compression #'s??
I'd love to see what they are and anyone familiar w/ removing the GP and valve covers can have #'s in about hour with the right tools.

I don't know what the compression numbers are. While I could probably find the time to test the truck, I don't have a compression tester.

If you are interested in the truck, I can see about getting them. If you are just curious what they are on a 200k PSD, I won't make it a priority.

Nice truck! I would keep it and forget the '12. Who needs all the emissions junk on the new ones. You can actually work on the 7.3's.

I'm with you on the emissions junk! That is why it took a year for me to bite the bullet and get the 2012. I wanted to see how the 6.7 was playing out, and it seems to be good.

My wife does not care if I keep it or sell it. I am attached to the truck and won't sell to someone who won't care for it the way I have. It's not on CL for that reason. If I can't find the right buyer, I'll keep it. I don't think she'll let me sell the 2012 though :)
