Ill definitely come see it when its done. I wanna paint the 7.3 red but the orange looks nice. Anything is better than grease/rust. That s483batmo is wild lookin....

Just a question, but...why did you remove the bedplate bolts after the rods were connected to the crank?
And if the bedplate wasn't already on...how did the crank not fall onto the floor when you installed the pistons and rods?

LOL We had a little photo op before we finished. We had the block flipped upside down when we put the pistons in then we put the bed plate on took the 1st picture bolted her down and flipped her over for the second pic

Trucks slowly coming together, picking up the trans tomorrow and hopefully getting the motor ready to put back in. Goal is to have it running by sunday with the single 66 for now until matt finishes the compounds. Still shooting for Rudys if I can get the compounds on in time.

What did it cost you to have the pistons coated if you don't mind me asking
my Stockers were messed up so i had to get a new set of mahles that were already coated, i don't know how much the coating costs.

We got alot done tonight. We Drilled and welded a fitting into the oil pan for the 2nd oil return for the turbo. Installed lifters and branch tubes, balancer, we were putting the heads on and we decide to replace multiple pushrods. But we did get one head torqued down ready for injectors and oil rail. We are going to pick up the transmission from Josh@RCD tomorrow morning and get a few spare pushrods and hopefully get alot done over the weekend! Here is some pics :D
