i still had the tick right after changing oil using the le 8854 but it was gone the next day, lasted a week last time dealer changed oil with ford blend

I wonder if the extra viscosity of a 40 wt oil over Ford's 30 wt is the cause of less ticking

When I used Mobil1 ESP I had the tick for a few days.When I used the Mobil Delvac 1 never a tick.Next oil change LE ..

mine ticks for about 500 like it did woth mobil 1.
I wonder if the extra viscosity of a 40 wt oil over Ford's 30 wt is the cause of less ticking

either they do or they dont.. mine still ticks and has had 5w40 in it from the get go.
