Thanks guys I'll keep you updated as I go.

Driveshaft should be built this week. Going to a 1 peice unit.

Fuel lines and such should be pretty easy.

Tell me about it my dad kinda pulled a wild hair out of his ass and decided to build one. He had all the material Except the pillow block bearings. Cost him 40 dollars for the whole thing lol. It works really well I can turn the cab on my own. Made welding the bottom much much better.

So originally I was going to run the 79 dash and modify it to fit the 04 gauge cluster but decided after putting it in that too much of the heater assembly was going to be exposed and I didn't like the way it looked with the floor and the heater.

So I started to put on the 04 dash and so far so good. This has been another point where I am just amazed how similar things are between the trucks. I think this is going to work well.

Sorry for the crap photos I don't always think to bring my cannon with me.

progress last week was pretty dissapointing. The frame is about ready for paint. Fuel lines are shortened and so is the brake lines. Crossmember is cut out and driveshaft is ready to go in.

Ran into a snag with the wipers. I need to fabricate some things to make that work correctly. I have the harness partially plugged in on the floor trying to determine when the motor stops under normal opperation but i might just have to get creative on that and make it adjust somehow.

i have spent the last 3 days getting the wipers to work. Who would have thought something so simple would have been such a bitch. Got it tho and it clears the defrost ducting ect. ill post a picture of how i made it work and a video when i re-assemble the truck.

Most people won't appreciate the video all that much but this basically stole 3 days of time from me lol.

04 wiper motor with a modified 79/04 linkage. There are not many places to put it because of the fit on the 04 dash and defroster ducting.
