Mine is actually attached to the headlight housing by the side, top bolt that holds the housing in place.

Well this is a good one! thanks for responses... looked where possible no wire anywhere,and cant seem to locate a decent diagram to trace it forward or back. Think i mentioned the front end looks replaced, and they could have cut wires off????? i am asking a lot here but can somebody follow their wire back to its first connection/plug on the harness???and snap a photo? or load a schematic that actually shows wire colors and/or which harness it came out of? later today im pulling battery and box out again, them open the looms in hope i find something left behind. not alot to work with for such a simple failure issue lol.
i can fix it if i can find its remains lol. thanks in advance all.
