looks like 7.3 and chevy 6.6 rods are around $2500. They are expensive also. Maybe the 6.4 are twice as strong?

6.4 is a stout motor and are holding well over 1000 hp without bottom end work

For low end torque I would guess it helps if it comes in later and good tuning will always play a role

That's definitely my concern, as far as low end torque. Comparing charts makes me worry even more about my stock rods, making over 800ftlbs at 2.25k rpm. You're chart not being over such a long timeline because it starts higher in the rpm range does no justice at how quick your power comes on over 2.75k rpm, it's got to feel unreal.
