looks like 7.3 and chevy 6.6 rods are around $2500. They are expensive also. Maybe the 6.4 are twice as strong?
the offset cap adds to the cost, that is why they are more.
I wondered that. At what point do they become a necessary upgrade?
6.4 is a stout motor and are holding well over 1000 hp without bottom end work

Does running a single and the power being up on the top end matter for this conversation? Mike's truck makes huge power but way up I'm the RPMs right?
None of them do it for long at that power.
Seen plenty of 5-600 hp trucks with bent rods too. Fwiw

For low end torque I would guess it helps if it comes in later and good tuning will always play a role
