Question, on the right hand side of the picture the end tank is necked down quite a bit towards the top. Is this for clearance for 3" diameter cold side IC pipes or any type of better flowing aftermarket IC pipe?

It designed like stock to be a drop in installation, including the hoses. Here's a pic of a stock radiator.
