Bump for my degas bottle question...
They do work, but they hang down pretty low and are visible.
Any problems with batteries corroding being under the truck like the picture shown above? I live in the northeast and there is a lot of salt in winter time... Would it make sense to put the battery in a plastic container like what was shown in the pic with the tool box and mount it to the frame rail? Just wondering because I plan on doing this soon and I daily drive my truck and dont want to have battery issues due to climate and salt

Why not just use the E series frame mount battery boxes ?

As far as how far the Eseries battery box hangs down on the frame rail, you can kind of see it here. Below the front door, with the yellow sticker. Its not bad, I just wanted to clean it up a bit.
I have a custom aluminum overflow tank made up it is 1 of 2 out there right now. I really didnt want to post anything up cause the guy that built it isnt a vendor on here but their on the psn. He is trying to get the tanks out there tho for guys like us wanting more room in the engine bay.
Dang. Maybe I'll be able to get a degass idea off an E-series, at least. Anyone have any underwood shots of one?
Might try hitting the junkyards, ebay or CL and find some a little cheaper or just go through SunRise Ford since they are a vender and discount items to members.
