most if not all race tunes keep the converter locked under shifts, but it doesnt really matter in 4low because the torque has been taken off of the trans, so actually the transmission should be fine.

I don't think you can put it on an up fitter switch because I think it requires a ground not power... well u could with a relay. But I think horn might be the easiest

Back when I had my mustang I thought about wiring the nos switch to the horn. Easy to access while driving! Just be carefull with those yellow wires!
